Request for Prayer Be part of the Mission
See What God Has Done For Others

TESTIMONY:

At the start of 2025, my professional journey took an unexpected turn. Following a corporate merger, my department experienced significant restructuring that spanned months —including role realignments, leadership transitions, it was a period marked by ambiguity and duress. Shortly after, my direct supervisor resigned, and one by one, my colleagues began to depart exasperated by the ongoing turmoil. I too began exploring new opportunities, only to encounter closed doors at every turn. Despite the frustration and uncertainty, I chose to entrust the situation to the Lord. I prayed for peace and sought to find joy in the situation. A few months later in June 2025, an internal opening emerged—a role I had long desired but never believed myself qualified for. Having been previously unsuccessful in internal transfers within the company, I submitted my application with little expectation and soon forgotten about it. About 2 weeks later, I received an invitation for an interview much to my surprise. Given my previous experiences, I knew that even being shortlisted, chances are pretty low as not only there was intense competition for the role which I was unqualified due to lack of experience. During our conversation, the hiring manager shared that he had good working relationship with my current manager and following the interview, he proactively reached out to my manager for feedback—someone with whom I had developed a strong rapport over the years. Interestingly, this happened 2 days before my manager’s final day at the company. Subsequently, I was scheduled for another interview with the hiring manager’s superior. During the interview, she openly shared her Christian faith much to my surprise as this was atypical of an interview and we quickly connected over our shared beliefs. Because of that our conversation flowed with warmth, sincerity, and ease. Later that same week, I was informed that I was the selected for the role. This series of events led me into a position I had once considered beyond my reach—one I neither expected nor qualified for. It was obvious that Daddy God had opened these doors at His Kairos and Qarah timing - the role happened to be available at this time, the hiring manager happened to know my manager whom he had a good working relationship with and he happened to approach my manager for feedback just before his last day, the hiring manager’s supervisor happened to be a Christian who was looking for someone with shared values and beliefs. I am deeply grateful to my good and faithful Daddy God for listening to the desires of my heart and reviving a dream I had set aside. Thank you for creating rivers in the desert (Isaiah 43:19), leading me on the best pathway of my life with your loving eye upon me (Psalm 32:8), working all things (even the closed doors) together for my good (Romans 8:28). And lastly, I have a shepherd and I am not alone (Psalm 23:1). To Him be all the glory—forever and ever. Amen.
